He leads the firm's Asset and Liability Committee and interacts with the investor and analyst community.</p>

In addition, he oversaw the USD interest rate management activity, hedging of foreign currency exposures from capital investments in foreign subsidiaries and non-USD debt, and the U.S. pension investments.</p>

Michael also held various roles in Treasury including co-head of funding and capital markets, retail bank treasurer in North America, Country Treasurer of Citibank Japan, and head of Rates Portfolio Management. He also headed the transition to centralize many of the firm's Treasury functions and has 31 years of experience in markets, investments, and Treasury management. Michael is married, has four children, and is active in philanthropy with a focus on supporting orphans.</p>
